I am asking because of a question on here by someone else... I personally feel like if you are raped even if it is your first "sex" you're not a virgin BECAUSE penis in vagina is penis in vagina... its penetrative sex so yeah it sucks that your first time went that way but... it is what it is. Right?

Being raped is terrible.

After surviving rape virginity would absolutely be the least of a girl's worry after

-the scare of having been infected with an STD

-the scare of being pregnant from a rapist

-the scare of being murdered

-the pain of what happened

-the shame when thinking about it

-the depression she will suffer

-the dirt she will feel in and on her body

-the nightmares she'll dream

-the loss of trust in guys she will have to live with

Really, being a virgin or not isn't of ANY importance compared to the above, trust me.

It's all in the mind. "Physical" virginity is really nothing special. A lot of girls lose it through exercise or tampons or whatever. If it wasn't consensual, then I don't think it should be considered a loss of virginity. Anyone who would take issue with the victim in the situation is just disgusting. There's much more important things to worry about, like emotional healing.

That may be the definition of virginity. But seriously just somethign going in side you no emotions attached means nothing at all. virginity is more of a mind emotional thing about how you feel when you do it with that person as if you gave yourself willingly

Ok well what about if you just have random sex with a person but feel no emotion towards then.. even though you consented to have sex with them you feel nothing towards them... so after that is over are you still a virgin?

Tehcnically speaking no your not a virgin. However I don't see it that way. I personally think that if you are a virgin it means you have never had sex by choice. Rape is a different thing.
