Whether we like to admit it or not, our friend downstairs doesn't always do what it's told.
Ladies, you can be butt naked wearing nothing but that little lace get up we love, but sometimes we can't "rise" to the ocassion.
Don't panic, you didn't do anything wrong. It's most likely not your fault. I'm sure he's very much attracted to you and turned on by you.
Don't be insulted or offended, here are a few reasons he can't get it up or hard for that matter.
1. Stage Fright
You might be too hot to handle. He might be a little nervous and his insecurities and/or anxieties could be psyching him out.
2. Too Much Masturbation
A boyfriend that watches porn and masturbates isn't a problem, but when he does it too frequently, it can affect your sex life. Have him lay off the porn and the masturbating for a while, so his libido can bounce back and be ready for you.
3. Fatigue & Exhaustion
Lack of sleep = lack of sex drive. Let your boyfriend get some rest and then he'll be able to give you his best.
4. Stress
Are you stressing him out? Or maybe he has a lot going on at work or stuff that you don't know about. Plus, if his stress is stopping him from getting hard for you, he’ll probably be even more stressed out about the fact that he can’t get hard!
5. Whiskey Dick
Drinking in moderation is fine, but when your man drinks too much, the toxins from the alcohol that his liver couldn’t break down make their way to other parts of his body, including his dick. You two will have to wait until the morning, hopefully minus the hangovers. So much for drunken sex...
6. Recreational Drugs or Certain Medications
Marijuana amongst other recreational drugs can inhibit an erection. Anti-depressant medications to even over-the-counter cold medicines can make it hard to get hard, no pun intended.
7. Guilt
Big or small, he might have a guilty conscience about something...
8. Relationship Problems
If you guys fight all the time, aren't on the same page, or all you do is complain about him; he isn't going to be motivated or encouraged to be intimate with you.
9. He's Just Not "Up" For It
Despite the horny stereotype... Yes it happens, on a rare occasion we sometimes just aren't horny. Just like you, he sometimes is just not in the mood.
10. Serious Health Conditions
Erectile problems are sometimes tied to serious health concerns, i.e. diabetes, heart disease, thyroid problems, etc.
Don’t take it personally that he can't get hard at the moment. Instead just start touching yourself and that should get you BOTH up for it.
