1. No Relationship
At this point in my life, I am single and have always been single. Because I am single, I don't need contraceptives. Being single is a good contraceptive.
2. Safe Neighborhood
I live in a relatively safe neighborhood with a very low crime rate. The chance that I will be raped by a stranger (violent crime) is extremely low, let alone being raped by an acquaintance.
3. No Night Life
I don't go out at night. I also don't have friends, let alone friends who go out or invite me to go out with them.
4. No Crazy Partying
I don't drink alcohol primarily because of the taste and the burn. Alcohol burns, and I hate it. I also don't smoke or use drugs of any sort. I don't party wildly.
5. Unnecessary Expenses
Contraceptives can be quite expensive. Sure, health insurance may cover them, but health insurance itself isn't free. Able-bodied individuals usually get health coverage from their employer. If I were in a relationship, then I'd probably need contraceptives. But I'm not. So, I don't. In a relationship, the cost of an unwanted pregnancy far outweighs the cost of contraceptives, given that abortion is highly regulated here.
6. Too Invasive
Most contraceptives put something inside the body's cavity or affect the hormones. Because I am single, I am already low-risk at getting pregnant. I don't need an extra procedure that affects my hormones or puts something into me.
7. Natural Fertility is not 100%
Fertility declines with age and can be severely affected by various factors, such as chemicals in the environment and health conditions. If I am actually infertile, then my own infertility is a kind of contraceptive.
