  • That all depends on how you define virginity. It's actually very badly defined, and different people define it very differently. For instance, some people define virginity as the hymen being unbroken, so even masturbating could take ones virginity in their opinion. According to others, one is a virgin as long as one has not had vaginal sex- so oral sex and even anal sex wouldn't count, and people who only had homosexual sex would remain virgins for their entire lives. So basically, virginity is a very vague concept, and is pretty much just an outdated social construct that is no longer necessary in today's society. Whether you're a virgin or not entirely depends on how you define virginity, and some people may think you're a virgin, while others may not.

  • Virginity for a girl is phisically about hymen. And mentally about experiencing this act with a person. But when you lose your virginity to someone you dont love even though you'll recall it all your life, but it won't equal having sex with the guy you love. Its a whole other level. Plus the first time might not be the awesome thing. For many its been an awkward moment and knowing yourself and your partner is way more important.

  • No, you are not a virgin. The definition of a virgin is someone who has not been touched, nor ever touched the genitals of someone else. That includes mouth and hands. You're not sexually active (that requires penetration), but you're not a virgin. You're not "untouched". Besides, you can get an STD from oral. Obviously anything that gives STDs also takes virginity, so there's that.

    • I'd hate to tell you, but yes she would still be a virgin, follow up on your sexual awareness. Just because she gave someone a blowjob does NOT constitute her as being a non virgin any longer.

    • Definition of virgin: Not yet touched, used, or exploited. So no, she's not a virgin.

    • she's a virgin by society standards, not your dictionary

  • I wouldn't consider you one, no. Just as the one anon guy mentioned, if you have to specify what "type" of virgin you are, then there would be plenty of virgins out there who have done sex acts. To me, that seems like a paradox. If you've done something sexual, you're no longer a virgin.

Easy enough to remember, I think. Only people in the 1300's hold that the vagina is sacred and until you're penetrated there, then you're still a sweet little virgin... or whatever they thought at the time lol

  • Doing anything sexual with anybody means that you're not a virgin anymore. It's not the hymen that defines it.

  • sex is when you are PENETRATED

  • Virgin = did not engage in penetrative sex.

So yes, you are a virgin.

    • Seconded.

    • thirded haha

  • Most of definitions of virginity is related to breaking of hymen for a girl and penetration for a guy. If you have not allowed a guy to penetrate (and if your hymen is intact) you are virgin according to generally accepted standards. At mental level - thinking of sex and intercourse - without any practical actions is also considered loosing virginity in many old cultures. In modern times - not penetrated is considered virgin and by this definition you are.

  • But you're a virgin and you're at least 25? wow... more power to ya ! lol

  • You're still a virgin until you've had a dick inside your vagina

    • It's the dick in the vagina thing that always throws me off,

    • And her hymen has been broken.

    • No necessarily her hymen could've been broken other ways

  • The true definition of a virgin is one who has not engaged in sexual intercourse. Since you have not had a guy have intercourse with you, you are still a virgin. Despite what Bill Clinton tried to say, oral sex is still a sexual act. However, it is not the sexual act that changes your virginity status.

    • lol @Bill Clinton tried to say comment.

  • yes you are still a virgin.

    • P. S- dont listen to the 'less' educated ones on here please :) also, you can talk to your parents... or just google it :)

  • The only way to not be a virgin is P in V. I went to a Catholic high school, dealt with a lot of Catholic girls. Long story short, they were passing out BJs like flyers on the street and then acting all pious and wholesome if the talk of sex came up.

  • There was no penetration so practically you're still a virgin. Morally you are NOT a virgin and you're considered as sexually active in my opinion.

  • physically no, mentally it's up to you I would say yes because you haven't experienced the feeling of being bonded physically but then it up to you :)

  • Yes, you are absolutely still a virgin!

  • by the actual definition of sex, ur still a virgin. his penis wasn't inserted into ur vagina.
you have engaged in a sexual act tho, which i guess removes u from being pure of sexual acts, by u have by no means actually lost ur virginity.

anyone who disagrees with that needs to go get some sex education...

  • Yes, but you're not totally inexperienced.

  • Yes, you can't be devirginized by sucking a guy off. The only way that you wouldn't be a virgin anymore is by having full intercourse with a guy and he breaks your hymen.

  • yes you are still a virgin

  • The official definition of virgin is - Not having been penetrated by a penis.

Personally, I'd say you still are.

    • Could you please point me to the internationally sanctioed body that maintains the official definition of virginity?

    • LMAO @Dand

    • QA has been penetrated by a penis, that's the 'problem'.

  • Physically...yes. But oral sex is still sex. But don't beat yourself over it. Don't let a guy use you. When you do meet the right man...you will know it.

  • You have not lost your virginity, but you have lost your innocence.

    • BEST ANSWER!! ! straight up!

    • Virginity IS sexual innocence. That was the original definition of it, and it used to be a term that explicitly applied only to girls.

  • Yes as long as he didn't pop your cherry you're still a virgin a blowjob isn't really sex it's more of just foreplay so yeah I would consider you to still be a virgin

  • well your mouth is definitely not virgin lol
