Different guys like or dislike different things. If your areolas are bigger than average, some guys will not like them, others will get quite turned on by them. Even average size areolas are not liked by some guys. So it does not matter what size they are, you can't please everyone.
Also, "What is average?" On D and larger breasts, it would be expected to find more girls having larger areolas than on smaller breasts. (Think how out of place a petite areola and nipple would look on a DD breast.)n Since most young people worry so much about how they look to others, they often find fault where there is none. So you might be "average" and not think so.
When guys mature enough to settle down, they realize that what is inside of the girl is more important than what is outside. They will still try to find a girl that has a great inner self in a great body, but they will know that there will be some features that do not meet their idea of "perfect". It may take a while (but what is the rush?) to find the right guy that is perfect for you, but be patient and enjoy life until then.
Areolas that are a little large (or thought to be) are not that big a deal (really). So plastic surgery (expensive, some danger, results may not be perfect) is really out of the question for most in this situation. Since there is nothing to be done for it, don't worry about it. Plenty of guys would love to have a girl with your features, and I am sure you will hear from some of them on here.
By the way, people who call negative attention to a person's features that may not be the norm are lobbing cheap shots to make themselves feel better at someone else's expense.

I doubt it would be a turn off to me as they're still breasts and them being breasts automatically makes them awesome
Besides, I'm not just excusing the flaws away but a person who would really like you can overlook minor details, as there are other features which make the partner like you that little percieved imperfections can't change
i don't know about a guy but I am I a c cup and I have big ones too like the size of a soda can and one is slight bigger then the other lol but I like the way my boobs look and I think guys love them to.

Tastes vary and there will always be some men who prefer average or small areolas, but trust me, judging from the male friends I have talked with over the years, big is beautiful. Define large areola? I am a guy and have ones that are an inch in total diametre, I'm not sure what you define as large for a girl but naturally girls are supposed to have larger areola than guys. Not a turn off
