Are circumcised clitoral hood a turn off for most guys?

I got my clitoral hood removed when I was baby and always been insecure. Is that usually a turn off for guys or would it be a turn off? I don't really know how common that is, but rarely heard of other girls been circumcised.

  • I don't think I would be that upset over just the removal of the clitoral hood (though I would never endorse that or want that done to my children (I think its wrong male or female)) but since I have not really seen any except for the few photos I found (after reading this question) I can't say for certain (though again as long as that's all that was removed I don't think that it would be that big of a deal).

    • definitely any kind of genital modification isn't something to endorse.

    • No its not but unfortunately its quite common for males in the US (about 70% of the population though thankfully this is changing), strangely its illegal to do to women here though (Go figure).

    • I guess that's the relic from the past, fortunately as you said its changing.

  • I don't think its very common.
I don't know how noticeable it would even be?
I doubt it would be a turn off.
As long as you can enjoy sex it should be fine.

    • thanks for the answer!

  • It is not circumcision unless the whole clitoris is removed. If the hood only was removed the girl would suffer great discomfort with her clitoris as it is about the most sensitive part of her body and would be rubbed raw.

    • I think it would rather be called excision, which also does happen in some countries.

    • Whatever it's called it's not good, more like genital mutilation.

    • I agree on that.

  • Its not something I would ever seek out, but it wouldn't be anything that would turn me off. It wasn't your choice to have it done in the first place anyways.

  • I've never seen one. Are you talking about that genital mutilation a lot of muslim parents do to their kids?

    • I don't know enough on Muslim traditions to answer that. I know they practice circumcision on males usually

  • It's fuckin hot... I would never cheat on you, that's for sure.

  • I heard it's only common in Egypt and some African countries

But from what I heard they don't just remove the clitoral hood they also cut the tip of the clitoris as well

So are you sure it's just your hood?

    • yeah I am sure! But indeed excision is common in these countries and usually mean cutting off the whole clitoris. It's another type of surgery.

    • I see... well thank goodness you have an intact clitoris so you can have a normal healthy sexual life As for your question I don't think it's a deal breaker for guys if you don't have your clitoral hood... because what actually matters is your clitoris as it something they can stimulate and enjoy

    • Thanks, indeed. I was worried about the look as it looks different, but I'm glad the general answer seem to be that it is not a turn off.

  • No I don't think it would be a turn off, I've seen such a thing. The clit hood protects the clit from over stimulation and keeps it moist, is that a problem for you?

    • it depends on the angle, but I've had uncomfortable feeling when wearing certain clothes. It is also really dry if I touch it without using lube.

    • I can well imagine. Most women don't like their clit directly stimulate as in oral sex unless they're very aroused. I can't imagine how it would be for you?

    • As you said, well aroused, it can feels comfortable, but I usually don't enjoy oral and prefer penetration instead, it feels more comfortable.

  • Oh its just a piece of skin...,
    it looks better...,

  • I would see it as a turn on for me. You have something unusual and therefore interesting.

  • I don't know. never seen it but it barbaric

  • it won't matter but its not common now a days.

  • I've honestly never even heard of that and probably wouldn't give it a second thought if I had a circumcised partner.

  • It’s common in African countries but not in western world, it’s done so you get no enjoyment in sex which is a shame that they did that to you since it’s not like a guys circumcision

    • its different from excision I think since it usually implies to remove the whole clitoris.

    • Really surprised they did that but I doubt guys would notice
