Today they have p*rn DVDs and smartphones/tablets/computers to watch p*rn on, as well as social & dating apps. But, yes, of course they're horny. Nearly all guys are horny if they aren't getting laid on a regular basis, and the Army (more correctly, the military) is really good at making that difficult, especially for the lower ranks.

Things change as you gain rank, and get more privileges and privacy, but even then, you can be deployed at any time, and if you think it's hard to get a girl in the US, it can be MUCH more difficult if you are deployed to many of the likely places our military is serving in today.

And while prostitution still happens, it's MUCH less frequent these days. In the past, the military looked the other way, and it was pretty routine, but over the last 20 years or so, they've cracked down on it very hard, and anyone caught visiting a prostitute will get Article 15'd at the very least (that's a formal, official write-up/punishment). As a result, there is increasing amounts of problems of male and female soldiers getting together, including a TON of unplanned pregnancies. They kind of traded one problem for another.

Nobody ever does anything "like in the movies", but obviously soldiers on deployment away from regular interaction with women are going to get horny. Some will stash p*rn, others will find prostitutes. If they're deployed to a base in a peaceful area they'll just go to local bars or clubs and pick up women same as anyone here at home.

There's no women. Leave them be. When you're in the military, there's nobody of the opposite gender to screw. That goes for anyone in the military. Must be rough.
