Asking a girl for a blow for his birthday?

So my guy friend who I have never hooked up with but I know is attracted to me jokingly asked me for a birthday blow job because his birthday is coming up soon. I got pretty pissed at him and told him that my friendship doesn't come with benefits. I mean, he didn't expect me to say yes and he knows I'm not like that, and it's not like I have a reputation as a whore/easy/slut etc. I haven't hooked up with anyone who I wasn't dating in years, in fact. Guys, have you ever actually done that to anyone? I mean, I guess if you already hooked up with her it's fair game to ask but my friendship doesn't come with benefits and I think it was pretty douchey of him to ask me that. Girls, what do you think?

  • It's disrespectful. My guy friend asked me that at least three different times and was not joking. I reacted the same as you. Trust your instincts. I know I wouldn't be offended if I really thought he liked me and wanted to be more than friends. Any interested guy would never ask me that if they wanted to date me. It hurt my feelings even more that he would risk our friendship over a sexual favor. Yes, we're both attractive and talk about past sexual experiences, partners, dating, but it doesn't mean I want to be more than friends. He crossed the line.
    Like you, I told him that it was offensive. I asked if he said that to a lot of women and what was their response? Does he actually think that I would say yes? I do end up in relationships that start out as friends, but those started with I think I love you, or long eye contact and passionate kisses.
    And just out of curiosity I asked him what do I get in return? He apologized and said he wouldn't ask me that again. He said he didn't ask because he thought I was easy or loose. He said he thought I'd be really good at it! Ha! So, he's thought about it. Maybe a crush? Infatuation? Either way, he's being selfish.
    I feel a man that sees you as a worthy friend, or a woman to date/long term anything wouldn't ask you that question.

    • we are close but the reason it bothered me is because he was only "semi joking", like he knows I say no now but sometimes I feel like I'm his conquest and he's trying to change my mind, like he brings these things up ocassionally and doesn't get why I won't do it. it makes me feel disrespected, and he doesn't care. another reason why I wouldn't want to date him. I'm not a "slut"
