i actually prefer a man gyno, because he cuts the crap and just does the exam. it just makes me feel weird having another woman stare at my vagina. but, since he's a guy, I feel like he's extra sensitive about not making me feel uncomfortable. doesn't try to talk to me, I feel like I can discuss sexual things without being judged or 'mothered'. that, and since he's a guy, they always have a female nurse stand in with him to make sure nothing goes awry. if you have a female doctor... there's no witness so some crazy sh*t could go down and no one would know!

Yeah, I actually changed from a female gyno to a man because the female literally SANG to my cervix when she couldn't find it. I'm not even joking, I'm in a gown with feet in the stirrups and she goes:
'come out come out wherever you are!' and then gave me some giant grin...I was like yeah. Um. No.
The man gets in and gets out. With no singing...0 1 0 0haha that's how men do. in and out with out f***ing around ;)
I feel uncomfortable regardless of the doctor's sex. But I also realize that they're professionals and they see naked people every day, so there's no real reason to.

All gyno docs should be female...but I wouldrather a woman examine me...also side note I was forced to do a pat down at the airport by TSA and the man touched my crotch ...I cussed him out...only women touch me please
0 0 0 0I'm OK with it and have gone to female doctors for full physical exams a few times. Doctors are professional about how they carry out exams and see private areas of both genders all the time.
