Best way to conceal a nipple piercing?

I'm wearing this to a 21st soon and due to the lace back, I'm not going to be wearing a bra. While the dress hugs my chest enough to support it, it also shows both nipple piercings quite clearly, especially when the stitching isn't lined up with them. Band aids don't exactly work, so I was wondering if nipple covers would do the job (if so can they be difficult/painful to take off?) or is there something else that would work too?

Best way to conceal a nipple piercing?

(Not sure what category to put this in)

As an F cup, backless&strapless bras are virtually non existent for me. That or they are expensive as hell so I'd rather not pay a fortune just to conceal piercings under a $40 dress haha On that note I reallllllllllly don't want to wear chicken fillets. The dress makes my chest look smaller and I'd rather keep it that way ☺️

Would the outline of a nipple pad or pastie show?

  • Use nursing pads. They are available in both disposable and washable/reusable varieties.

    Disposable: $7

    Reusable : $20

Get them at a big box store (Wal-Mart, Target) or a pharmacy.

They make them in different thicknesses. I'd suggest going with the ultra thick ones as they would be the most concealing.

It might be worth it to buy the reusable variety and then consider them a permanent component of your wardrobe. Covering your piercings may be useful in the future as well.

by the way, that's a killer dress you got there.

    • Thanks for the MHO.

  • Well either get a really thick padded bra or take out the piercings... even if it's a new piercing, you'd really only be taking it out when you're wearing the dress.

    • 10/10 don't want to risk infection so no thank you to the second bit 👍🏼 Aaaaaand like I said in the update, the last thing I want is for my chest to look larger. Oh and don't forget the back is lace so wearing a bra would look tacky af

    • Lol your should some silicone nipple covers.. they're thicker than the other so it should be good for you.

    • should buy*

  • ... just let the nipple piercings show? I mean, I guess clarify some things for me here. Did you buy the dress before or after the piercings? If you bought after, then you had to have known due to the tightness of the dress when trying it on, that they would show.

Are you bra-less in the above photo? Cause you can't really even see an imprint.

    • - It's my little sister's grade 6 graduation dress and because I really like it, I tried it on and am 100% looking at buying one the exact same one haha (buying dresses that don't cleavage pop and fit nice without being bodycon are so difficult to find) - Piercing's are almost 3 months old - Yes I'm bra-less. You can blame shitty iphone quality/lighting for that one

    • buying the same one*

  • DONT cover them @ all :)

Me = lap pool swimmer + recent aerial platform diver who has ring piercings with charms on both + lives in bikinis daily.

Luuuuuuuuuuuuuurve the dress + shoes by the way :P

    • Rather not have my parents find out so soon is all haha Also thank you! It's the first dress that's actually fit me nicely and I'm in love with it ❤️

    • Change for the party @ a friends house :P

  • Use silicone nipple covers, they don't have adhesive so they won't literally stick to your skin like glue and be painful to take off.

    • The one's at bras n things seem to, so I'll have to look into that one

  • Just get nipples stickies my nipples are pierced too and that's what I use for mine 😊😊😊 and they're like 5 bucks

    • Thank you😁😁😁

  • Nursing pads or nipple covers should do the trick. Not sure what they are like as I have never tried them, but they might help give more coverage than the band aid method.

  • I would show it off! They looks awesome, I'm sure.

  • Just get nipple covers. They should cover them so no one will see them :)

  • Nip pads. My wife's friend used my wife pads from breastfeeding to cover hers.

  • Wait, can you not remove nipple piercings?

    • You can but they heal quick as. I haven't quite hit the 3 month mark yet so they're still technically in the healing phase.
