bisexuality is technically the capacity to find both sexes sexually attractive.There's no requirement for 50/50 attraction or anything. you can strongly prefer one over the other, you're still bi. Most people are bisexual on some level, but influential elements in society, anything from religion to political history, play a key role in controlling the recognition, acceptance, and especially coming out. romantic attraction can technically be a separate issue from sexual attraction, but many bisexuals are also biromantic. that is, they are romantically attracted to both sexes as well. gender is more complicated, but I won't get too into that. ill just say that the whole bisexual vs pansexual comparison is about gender, sex/gender alignment with transgender people, and sometimes even gender expression in the gender binary. pansexuals are all bisexuals by default, but not all bisexuals are as open to the whole "other" world of gendery things to the point that they are pansexual.

I am also biromantic, that's part of my bisexuality on a personal level. I am attracted to women romantically and I would definitely marry a woman if I loved her enough and could see myself having a life with her, as an individual.
In terms of my preference, I don't have a strong preference either way. I probably have slight preferences, like 60/40, in either direction depending on the time of year or where I am in life. more or less equal.
Oh and I wish someone would come to me talking about how promiscuous bisexuals are. I know tons of straight-identified people who sleep around like its nothing, like water running through their fingers basically. don't even bring that kind of ignorant prejudice to me. you're only exposing yourself as a moron. Although, I don't see anything wrong with being very promiscuous, I'm not conservative in my views about sex at all. I was always attracted to women when I was a little girl the first person I had a crush on was my best childhood friend I would always fantasize about her and watch her outside of her house just to look at her she was so pretty I had my first kill with another girl when I was 8 . I also started liking guys as well which I found weird there was no one like me in my town so I felt that some thing was wrong with me so I just kept my feelings bottled in and never told anyone . As a teenager I once went to a therapist to get rid of my bisexuality because I thought something was wrong with me and that I needed to be fix high school was very hard for me being attracted to a lot of girls and guys at my school so confused I mostly pretended to be straight because it was my way of surviving girls in my school we're very mean to other girls that were lesbian or bisexual plus if they found out you got nasty rumors spread about you . I could never forget a girl in my gym class that had huge boobs that would do jump rope
it was very hard to concentrate in class with those things bouncing around , I remember getting angry thinking can they stop turning me on so much with their big boobs lol . But what truly made me know I was bi was no matter how straight I tried to be or how much I suppressed my feelings towards the same sex it never went away and that I would be like this for the rest of my life .
What does being a bisexual mean to me well to me it means being attracted to both sexes of course but it doesn't mean that every bisexual is like the stereotype you see on TV for example

I am bisexual for a strong preference for women. For as long as I can remember being interested in people sexually or romantically my interests have been mainly women - perhaps 70-30. I didn't really know what bisexual was at the time so I thought that I was perhaps lesbian but having read about it I knew it wasn't right because I did like men, and falling for a guy I knew a couple of months later only confirmed this. It was only after starting high school that I came across the word bisexual and knew that that is was I am. However I have known I was bisexual for as long as I can remember, I just didn't know the word for it.
Having come to accept my sexuality despite the many negative stereotypes out there and the general bias form the Hetero and LGBT (or perhaps it should only be LGT - because many of them in my experiance don't seem to accept bisexuals) community I can now comfortably say that I am bisexual, but the process of coming to accept that took a while - to accept the things that many believe go with the label - I have always accepted who I was attracted to.
