Bisexuallity? What is this?

I am trying to understand how on Earth bisexuality is possible. I am not saying it is normal or abnormal, I just do not understand how this can be possible? How can you be attracted to men and women? Can you fall in love with both (and in the same time)? Is it the same feeling, do you look for the same things in a woman or a man? If you a homosexual or heterosexual, I can understand how can you be attracted to same/opposite sex, I can "imagine" how an a man/woman can find another man/woman sexy / handsome / desirable /etc. But both, I can't get it.

Travesty" .for you to say that someone is "wrong" ...and to think he is right is "stupid" is just to illustrate you own arrogance, sir. How can you make such a statement..? ...All of this is nothing more than" Editorial Opinion"and as such is all open to conjecture...Nothing discussed here is based on any verifiable medical or scientific evidence..."Opinion" is just that gentlemen..."OPINION" and everyone has one, and everyone is entitled to hold an opinion.

My "opinion" is based on the fact that my own brother has lived his life as a homosexual, and as such...I am sure he speaks from a source other than "Editorializing", since he has lived in and with the homosexual community...and to him...as a living breathing "HOMOSEXUAL" his feeling is that bi-sexuality, is not a valid use of the term as we are using it here.

I never, in the whole of this discussion, presented ANYTHING as being the absolute truth, 'honest to god truth"...only an opinion that I hold based on the lifestyle of a homosexual as I have seen it to exist...

No, he is wrong. Just like I'd be wrong if I came up to him and said "there's no such thing as homosexuality." As dumb as it would be to say that, it's equally as dumb to say there's no such thing as bisexuality. Both statements are clearly not true.

My brother has been homosexual for all of his adult life...and he says there is no such F&*^%$# thing as a "Bi-sexual" ...the only thing the term means to him is that a bi-sexual likes both "men and boys" tongue-in-cheek

The terms means nothing...like saying that I can have sex with men or women...absurd just on the face of it...

For whatever reason, there are people that want us to believe that they can be "switch hitters"...makes homosexuality less objectionable... perhaps...

I think it's sad to see someone boil down everyone into one political cause. "I'm homosexual, so I'll claim to be bi to make it more morally justifiable." As if it's not possible to disregard a couple of chromosomes and their physical manifestations. "absurd on the face of it" I guess this means that you think sex is only sexual intercourse. I made no such observation, nor statement, sir "I guess this means that you think sex is only sexual intercourse" Certainly, sex is more than 'sexual intercourse".........My writings in the past confirm that I don't hold that belief, and based on this particular answer, I don't understand how you would draw that conclusion.........My experience with homosexuality, is based on my knowledge about my brothers trials and tribulations for lhis lifetime as a homosexual.

If A is possible, and if B is possible, and having both A and B is possible (as proven by anyone that has participated in both A & B). Just because you like A doesn't mean you can't enjoy B. Then you can hypothetically enjoy both A and B. So your only way out is to say that one is impossible.

However, scientific researches reviled that the hypothalamus size of the bisexual was similar to that of the heterosexual men (but those of homosexuals are smaller). It is like heterosexuals are just adding another 'option' in their sexual life. Simple! !You like Vaginas and Penises. :D Pretty much they just share attractions towards both genders , though a lot of the time if they consider the attraction equal and all about emotional and personality it's considered Pansxual.

Well I can speak for two of my friends on this. They say they don't care about the physical appearance (including gender) so much as the personality. So yeah, I guess they look for the same things in men and women, certain personalities. I'm sure this isn't how it is for everyone though.

No you got it right - gender is not important. How is that confusing? It's not about looking for a gender or a form of sex - it's about finding someone whos personality makes you excited. That kind of person that you want to be around, that you're drawn to. It doesn't matter what form it takes. In a way, bisexuals are less shallow because it doesn't depend on looks.

That's not really an answer to what I asked. That's just a definition of bisexuality. What makes you think that's impossible?
