Bulge in jeans, what is it?

I was sitting next to my boyfriend in church and I noticed a bulge in his jeans around the crotch(and it wasn't just a wrinkle in the jeans cause he had them smoothed out, it was just like a slight bulging in that area) and a few other times I've noticed a bulging next to his upper thigh when he's sitting or standing, so is that probably what I think it is or what?

Your best course of action is to simply ask him what is in his pants that's causing this distracting bulge. In fact, if you ask, he may even take what is causing the bulge out of his pants and let you look at it and/or touch it in order to satisfy your curiosity.
