Hymens, something they used to measure virginity by, are no longer used for that. We are so much more active than we used to be, and women rarely make it to their teens with it intact any more. I mean, if you used tampons, it's gone. If you did gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, softball, anything, it is probably gone. All it really is, well, it's a small flap of skin before your cervix. Very thin, very easy to break without knowing it. That's why so few make it with it intact.
Now, virginity used to be measured by the hymen, true. But not anymore. It's not feasible now. Virginity is usually now measured by having had sexual intercourse with a man, or at least that is my definition. Everyone's definition varies.1 0 0 0most girls' hymens break long before they ever have sex, usually through sports, excercise or masterbation, if you are at least 16 (usually younger) then odds are your hymen has been broken already unless you lead a very inactive life. you can not lose your virginity unless you have been vaginally penetrated by a man's penis, and if you want an exact definition, according to webster's dictionary a virgin is "one who has never engaged in sexual intercourse".
1 1 0 0who cares if your hymen is broken? a lot of girls break theirs from tampons, bike riding, and horseback riding before they actually have sex anyway! But they are still virgins. A virgin is someone who has never had sex. (I consider this to be only intercourse, but some people include oral and anal sex)

You haven't lost your virginity until you are penetrated. The hymen often breaks in a lot of girls before losing their virginity.
They say horse riding can break your hymen and such activities. And sex toys, and sexual activity with yourself or a partner that doesn't involve penetration may break your hymen also. But it doesn't mean you've lost it until you are penetrated.1 0 0 0ur hymen can break by masturbation with toys and such, but virginity is truly defined as intercourse/penetration, so if your hymen broke during intercourse then yes you did lose your virginity.

3.) A penis in your vagina.1 0 1 0your a virgin if you haven't had sexual relations with someone that you want to have sexual relations with. This includes a girl on girl using instruments or a guy and girl using his dick. You can tell if you have your hymen by googling what they look like then check yourself out. Even if you had sex and your hymen didn't brake you still had sex, making you a not a virgin.
0 0 1 0Yes, you can check with a mirror. And an anatomy book.
