Can I get pregnant from being fingered after he touched his dick (with cum on it)?

So on Sunday (Jan 17) my boyfriend and I fooled around. We used a condom yes but here's where things are starting to scare me. The condom was really tight on him, he said it was too tight almost painful. And because I was a virgin, he couldn't get his penis inside me and he ended up cumming into the condom before he could penetrate me. He felt really bad so, while I was holding the filled condom I hugged him, the cum may have gotten on my hands though I'm not sure. He also was holding his dick which still had cum on it, and a little bit later he fingered me. Im not sure if there was cum on either of our hands or not when he fingered me or when I touched myself. But I'm seriously worried if I could become pregnant. I still have time to take plan-B if I need to. But I don't have a lot of money or time to waste! Help me! Should I be worried or am I just overly paranoid! ?

  • It's possible to get pregnant from that, but it's pretty unlikely. Sperm can live outside of the body for up to an hour, but once the semen has completely dried, the sperm are almost always dead. So, basically, if he had cum on his dick, he wiped it off with his hand, and immediately started fingering you, there might be some cause for concern. Even then, though, it would be a minimal amount of surviving sperm, and you would probably need to be at your most fertile point for conception to occur.

Still, the best practice in this type of situation is for both of you to wash your hands with soap and warm water after you get cum on them. Better safe than sorry.

In the meantime, it sounds like you may want to invest in some water-based lube, and find some ways to help yourself relax the next time you want to have sex. I suggest having your boyfriend go down on you for, like, I don't know, and hour? :) Maybe that's just my solution. You probably also want to deal with that condom situation. Is your boyfriend a virgin too? He may just not be used to having a condom on. It might be a good idea to review how to put them on properly (www.plannedparenthood.org/.../how-do-i-use-a-condom) That may sound preachy, but a significant amount of condom error comes from guys putting them on inside out. Condoms should be snug, but they shouldn't be painful, so if he's still feeling discomfort from wearing one, he also may need a bigger size.

    • Woa dude thanks so much for your answe really! I was feeling super scared and stuff, but you really calmed me down. I'll take your advice and look into the condom stuff before we try any of that again so I dont get all worked up. :) but really thanks, for your answer and advice on all my issues

    • Glad to help. Hope you enjoy yourself next time :).

  • That would be a ultra rare case if you do wind up pregnant. I wouldn't think so since the sperm dries out when the air hits it. Moisture is gone rather quickly, so like I said, that would be rare... Unless it leaked out of the condom in the process of y'all having sex.

  • It's pretty unlikely BUT this feeling is the exact reason you need to start looking into birth control and tell him to buy the right size condoms.
