Can sperm live on a bar of soap?

Last night I showered and used the soap bar all over my body including my "downthere " area. I had a frightning thought : What if my brother masturbated and washed his hands whith the soap? . I have no idea if he did but still, is it even possible for sperm to survive on a soap bar? Could I be pregnant?

  • how long after himdo you usually shower? cause semen doesn´t really survive on any surface on the air for long at room temparature.

now if you´d take a bath one after another, that´s a very dangerous scenario. but using the soap he washe his hands with after masturbation definitely WON'T get you pregnant. cause 1: it´s too cold for semen to live on it. 2. as you wash your hands, stuff is removed and washed away by water and so is the semen (which at that point should be dead anyway due to cold water and 3: even if he just jizzed on the soap and it lies there for like 10 minutes, the semen will be dead either way and not make you pregnant.

  • Sperm does not live long outside of its normal environment. You are fine. If you have a brother about your age of course he masturbates frequently... all young guys do it they just won't admit it. If it still freaks you out use your own bar of soap or ask your brother if he jerks off in the shower as opposed to his room. Your thoughts?

  • Okay first of all, you should not be using a bar of soap directly there when you wash. It's not good for your chemical balance at all. Secondly, no you are not likely to get pregnant from washing with a bar of soap. You are are definitely over thinking things.

  • What would happen if any man anywhere masturbated and touched anything at all ever and you just happened to touch the same thing? Then you masturbated afterwards? Could a totally random stranger get you pregnant too?

    ... No. It's absolutely impossible.

    • Yeah your right Im just being paranoid.

    • And plus I read that , Soaps and detergents such as those used for laundering and hand washing kill sperm , as these substances strip off the cell membrane ("skin") of the sperm. These methods kill sperm very quickly. So I think Im being silly.

  • Its really unlikely that you'd get pregnant. But just for hygiene purpose Id recommend you get your own personal soap.

  • No, chemicals will kill them instantly. Once they dry up, die instantly. Also, you have to get sperm deep inside you.

  • Nope.

  • Unless he came on the soap and shoved it up right after I'd say no

  • Yeah those spermis build a Metropolis on it to conquer your womb.

  • no unless there was a penis inbetween you and the soap. That's about the only way you could possibly get pregnant.
