Can't hum while giving deep oral?

So question for all you girls out there, Is it true when giving deep oral sex if "it" touches the back of your throat you can't hum? This is what my girl tells me whenever I try to push deep and the humming stops. Can you hum? Can you make any sounds at all when it's that deep?

Just the angle. By sticking out your tongue should create enough room for air to release for the hum

I have trouble doing that as well, I've tried before but it doesn't work if it's deep.

I can still hum when it's in the back of my throat. If it's deep down my throat I can't. When your air is completely blocked off, you can't hum.
