Can you die from too much sex?

Weird question but hear me out: So I was watching a movie, and basically it was set in an older time period where there were brothels that trafficked young girls specifically for army men. In the movie this girl had been there for I think it said 11 months, tied to a bed, they fed her and everything but she was just there for sex. In one of the final scenes the guy comes in, has sex with her and she makes these squeaky sounds and dies from that. My question is, is that even possible? She had blood on her face and body, from getting hit a few times when she didn't listen to the main guy, but that's it.

  • Actually I do think it's possible to die from too much sex. You see with sex slaves they are basically being raped every time they have sex. these men (and women) are allowed to do whatever sexual thing they want to do. They can go as rough as they want...it's sad. Often times these girls have vaginal tearing and bruising...I guess they don't die from the sex but eh violence that often ensues. Often these girls are beaten because they don't preform well enough, or because they do something or resist. People often think these movies enhance the violence or blow it out of proportion but sadly they often dont. Many girls (and boys) who are sex slaves endure things that seem so unreal to those of us who aren't involved in it. I've talked to many girls and read stories of girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking and it's horrifying. Being a survivor of rape on many accounts hearing these stories can trigger emotions that were felt by the rape, I think about how badly I was hurt each time I was raped and I can't image what those girls go through! I often cry when hearing the stories because I thought I had it bad and in fact those girls would have rather been in my shoes then their own!

  • No, not from sex alone. But possibly from the side effects of rough or violent sexual acts which may be either wanted or unwanted.

-Infections caused by sex (if it's too rough [such as rape] and she has a large amount vaginal tearing and isn't clean [not bathing and just laying a filthy bed] then an infection could possibly get in)

-hardcore sex acts (choking for example) if it's not done right or done too hard could lead to death

-And then of course being beaten during sex could cause trauma to her head since you said there was blood all over her which may cause death.

I mean, I'm not an expert or anything but all of these seem like valid reasons someone could die from sex. But it's not simply from the sex itself in my opinion.

  • No. You can die from a heart attack during sex or dehydration (in that woman's case in the movie, I'm assuming) or other things, but not sex itself

  • I sentence you to death by snu-snu. (Bonus points if you get the reference).

I guess it would be possible to die from the circumstances in that movie. People have been known to give up the will to live and simply die. Tied to a bed for 11 months as a sex slave, it would be really easy to give up the will to live.

    • You win the game.

  • I don't know if its possible to die from too much sex specifically but the person in move could say die from lack of food or other health issues but I doubt a health person could ever die from say having too much sex in one day

  • I believe you can die from NO SEX!

I’m making my funeral arrangement now!

  • Yes you could. Hypovolemic shock or internal bleeding from trauma. The sex itself can't kill you but the other stuff ( being locked up etc) can

    • that would make sense

  • I don't think so, but I'd like to give it a shot.

  • if your partner is obease and they roll over on top. yer a gonner

  • Not from sex alone, no.

  • on his 95th birthday, my grandfather took a few ecstacy pills and set out to have sex with 85 women in succession on the same day. while he was f***ing #56, he died of dehydration.

  • No.

  • Food poisoning, I reckon!

*Puts on monocle and smokes bubble pipe*

  • No. That was just a fictional movie. The physical effects of what sounds like rape, were enhanced to show the horror and helplessness of her situation.
