  • You definitely can get pregnant the first time you have sex. You can get pregnant any time you have sex during your fertile years (while you are having periods). I don't think it is any more or less likely the first time than any other time. I think the likelihood depends on how fertile you are, how fertile the guy is, where you are in your cycle and probably other things as well, but there's always a chance. I think it's really important to always be sure you are protected against pregnancy and diseases any time you have sex. I also think that 14 is much too young to have sex so I hope this is just a theoretical question and not that you're planning to do it soon.

  • Yes you can get pregnant the first time you have sex, assuming you're having periods and you don't have any health problems that would prevent pregnancy. And you have to be female too, that usually helps.

I'm not sure what the statistical likelihood of getting pregnant on your first time is. Probably a difficult thing to gather reliable data on.

by the way, if you're worried that you might be pregnant, go to see your doctor. No need to be scared or embarrassed. You wouldn't be the first or the last.

  • You absolutely can, even if you use the pullout methid. You have a 15% chance of precum pregnancy, and a seriously high chance if you just have sex without any method or protection. Just use the condom, baby.

  • Yes you can get pregnant the first time having sex.
You have an increased risk at a young age, but if you are taking precautions to prevent an unwanted pregnancy, you should be okay

  • Yes. It happens.
No special reasons to think it's more or less likely the first time. Depends on your ovulation.

  • First time or1000th, you have the same exact chance of pregnancy. Be careful. Practice safe sex.

  • It makes no difference.

    • I’m just asking a question

    • Cool (thumbs up) I answered it lol

  • Ffs what is wrong with you? Clearly you are not ready to have sex.

  • Yes you can & the probability is the same as any other time- first or hundredth doesn't matter.

  • Yes, you can get pregnant as soon as you have your first period. But even if the boy cums inside you it's not 100% guaranteed that you will get pregnant.

  • Yes, you can get pregnant the first time, second time or any time. You are no more or less likely to get pregnant the first time as opposed to any other time. The only 100%, absolute way to NOT get pregnant is to NOT have sex. Given that that is highly unlikely (not a personal dig; merely observation of society), then taking the pill, using condoms and taking the morning-after (plan B) pill for slip-ups is the safest thing to do.

    • Actually that's not entirely true. You can avoid getting yourself pregnant very reliably by being male.

    • @kitjo Yes, I agree. Although, I am assuming she doesn't have that particular option.
