Chapped cracking lips after oral sex? (women)?

I gave first bj the other day, and my lips have been really dry since. I got the mark under the lip that some people get from saliva or constantly biting there lip too, and its sort of fading. But I do worry because I have a little burning at the corners sometimes, but use oil to stop itl. I gave oral sex last week (5 -6 days ago) 0. He did not ejaculate in my mouth, but I understand there could still be more risks. I have sort of sensitive skin and the saliva could be whats irritating plus its cold and my lips were already dry but also he was rough. He was a jerk (gagging) and I felt my throat ache a lot after, and coughing so know rougher oral is a higher risk. Im still worried, my lips were dry and chapped (peeling a little bit) I thought maybe it could be from him having some minor case of jock itch? has anyone ever blown a guy with jock itch? Its concerning because the symptoms of cold sores and herpes, is burning and tingling around the mouth and herpes can take up to 3 months to show in the body. I have more burning or tingling than I had before I gave oral sex so its sort of concerning. Befor my mouth was just fine, now Im worried and getting tested soon (But Ill have to keep retesting)

  • Get tested. Good luck. I'm an oral sex lover and I think oral sex is the best sex, but I also always say have oral sex only in long term monogamous relationships where you know each others STD status.

    • Thanks i went to the doctors and she said the symptoms are normal after having oral sex and because of the friction, and also that a cold sore or the beginning of one should have shown up in this period by now and she saw nothing wrong with my mouth. Also the chance of contracting herpes through oral is very low unless he had a present blister that would have been painful for him... and people get oral herpes hereditary or from sharing drinks at young age, children have it (coldsore on the mouth). So low risk but it typically takes 8 weeks to appear in the system so I'll be back to test late Jan. and for other things... but it was so awkward she just said use vaseline for the lips lol uggghhh

    • Phew, that sounds good. I hear Vaseline isn't good for you in the long term. When I suck, lick and stroke my husband's cock I use For Play Gel-Plus hypoallergenic lube. It's clear, tasteless and odorless. It's the kind that comes in the big red bottle. Best stuff I've ever found. I had originally thought I'd like flavored lube, but all the flavored lubes I tried got scummy and turned into a horrible tasting concoction within minutes of applying them. The hypoallergenic unflavored lube stays good and because it has no flavor I don't taste it and it doesn't get in the way of my enjoyment. You might want to give it a try.
