Chunky white discharge but not a yeast infection?

So recently I've been finding this chunky, white discharge coming out of my vagina. I looked it up and if it said it white then it was normal but if it was white and chunky that it was a yeast infection. They normally say if it is chunky like cottage cheese but i dont find it to be THAT chunky, only a little. The problem is I don't have any itching or burning of any kind. I fingered myself for the first time make a week or two ago and it started happening pretty soon after that night. I have never orgasmed so I don't know what cum looks like but I'm starting to wonder if it is precum. I honestly just don't know and any advice would be helpful. Thank you! (No rude comments please)

Okay so I just looked up cottage cheese (ive never eaten it in my entire life) and it is FOR SURE not that chunky, it's not even close to that consistency, nor was it that white. It was a pale/translucent white. The best way i can describe the texture is like if you took slime (like Gak or something) and broke it off into little pieces and mixed it in with a clear, strechy discharge.

Another update: I found this article of this girl (w/ no history of UTI's) who took a picture every day of her menstural cycle starting from the first day to the last day and a few pictures she took looked EXACTLY like what i am seeing. My new question is, why did the amount increase? I'm still a virgin, the only difference is the fact that I fingered myself for the first time a few days ago (which, when checked later, revealed it had left an opening where i fingered myself).

  • Different Types of Discharge

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if it is thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come.

If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

  • pretty sure girls don't have precum? not certain but i'm pretty sure. it could be from ovulation if you're in the middle of your cycle, depending how chunky. but if you happened to finger yourself and your hands were dirty or something, you could have gotten a yeast infection or uti. you should probs go see a doctor.

    • Even if the only symptom of a yeast infection is the color of the discharge? I dont have a rash, itching, burning, or foul smell coming from it. It's just white and ever so slightly chunky

    • it could just be ovulation then. when did you last have your period?

    • Around 14 days ago? Maybe a bit less

  • Don't know exactly... It must probably cud b a sign of ovulation... Usually the white discharge become bit thick and sticky/gummy at around 12-15 days after ur last cycle which cud just mean ur ovulating.. Bt if itz been around for lots of days continuesly itz better to consult a doctor... Professional help is better than following what people say here and regretting it later

    • If thr is any itching, foul smell, rashes or anything that wasn't thr before then seek help immediately

    • Im about on my 14th day away from my last cycle and this started maybe 2-3 days ago (its not a lot but the amount increases anytime i get turned on)

    • No there is none of that, it actually doesn't smell at all, and there's 0% itching or burning, and i dont have a rash either
