Contreception : Birth control, I've tried it all. My opinion and experience.

I was 16 years old when I started being sexually active, I decided to go and talk to my doctor about using some time of birth control who then suggested the combined pill, which was okay it worked just fine the down side you had to rememer to take it everyday at the same time, and sometimes I forgot.

So I when for a more long term type of birth control, which was the implant, I had it in for 6 months until I could get it removed throughout the 6 months I had very irrgular periods like every ther week which obviously was rubbish and they were quite painful.

When I had the implant taken out i opted for the injection which after 2 months gave me a lot of acne due to the large amounts of male hormone that are in the injection which caused a massive breakout.

After that I used condoms for a while and I spoke to a friend who was using the patch so I got that too now that was fine it was really good worked well but I had a lot of pain in my breasts most of the time.

So I stoped with the hormones overall and have been using condoms for the past 8 months up until now and my menstrual cycle is still all over the place after the patches and so we have decided to go back on the combined pill.

Now everyne is different this is just my take on the whole birth contrl debate.
