Could I take sulfamethoxazole and ibuprofen at the same time?

I just took sulfamethoxazole (antibiotics) and I want to take sleeping pills in an hour. Would I be able to take sleeping pills then (ibuprofen)?

  • I'm no MD but generally they say leave 2 hours between medications that might kinda interact with each other. I'd leave 1.5 to 2 hours to be safe. And of course not on an empty stomach right?
