Cuming inside me and using Plan B?

So, I've recently had sex for the first time with my boyfriend of a year and a half (lost our virginities to each other) and it's been getting really good lately LOL First time was alright and every time after that was better and better. I know I don't have much experience, but I'd say it was great sex, and I think he would agree since he always wants it LOL We've had sex maybe like 15 times already in less than a month (I'm counting the nights together only) but everytime, we've used a condom or he's pulled out. But I really wanna feel him come inside me and he really wants to as well. We just wanna feel it. So, if he does can I take Plan B (the morning after pill) to make sure we prevent pregnancy. Or does that even work? Can it work? I'm not on the pill and would prefer not to be (would save me some embarrassment going to the doctors office, I'm really shy and would prefer not to). Thanks in advance

  • As an earlier post states, Plan B has a lower rate of effectiveness than either the Pill or condoms. It's one reason it's a backup (plus it gives a lot of girls the pukes.)

More importantly, you need to work through your shyness around your doctor. Not only will your doc gladly scrip you for the Pill, but the doc needs to know the details of your sex life in case there's something they should look for.

I knew a doc that to check that the meds she prescribes so that they don't react with her amyl nitrate users. I knew another who saved a guy from getting locked up by explaining how his girlfriend got bruises and rope burns; the girl, his patient, was just freaky that way, and he was familiar with the pattern of her injuries.

Few people need to know how you're getting down, but your doc is definitely one of them.

  • The morning after pill is not 100% effective. By using multiple contraceptives, you are reducing the possibility of pregnancy.

  • It's actually not that embarassing going to get on birth control. Once you're sexually active, its a good idea to get things checked out regularly anyway. The doctor and nurses understand that it is awkward and work to make you feel comfortable. Plus, just think how many times you have to go get poked and prodded if you accidentally get pregnant!

Plan B isn't as effective as being on the Pill. It makes many people naseuated. You have to ask to get it where I'm from, so you'd still have to interact with someone for it.

Also, not to be rude ... but your boyfriend is gonna want to finish inside of you every time once you start letting him. Its gonna get expensive and do weird things to your cycle if you use Plan B as Plan A.

  • Plan B was designed to be exactly that, your plan B. Not your plan A. It's the least effective method out there, minus pulling out. Either use a condom 100% of the time, or get on the pill. It's really no big deal going to the doctors. You can even go to Planned Parenthood which is designed for that kind of thing. Trust me, walking into a doctor's office asking for the pill is a lot less embarrassing than telling your parents your pregnant. My friend has gotten pregnant when using plan B. It's only designed for those "oops" moments when the condom breaks or you were raped.

  • Plan B is not something you should be taking regularly in place of birth control. It does the job but I'm sure you could become immune to it just like anything else you take regularly.

If you don't want to go to the doctors/pharmacy for birth control that is saying something and you shouldn't be having sex if you aren't able to pick up birth control without feeling embarrassed about it.

Or just stick with condoms. Same applies here. If you are too embarrassed to be picking these up you shouldn't be having sex.
