I didn't, I'm still a virgin. I guess its an old thought that people lose their virginity on prom night. My parents thought something would happen, as did his/my friends. Everyone also assumed we'd kissed before then too. Instead, my boyfriend and I hung out until 1 in the morning and watched a movie. Nothing happened and we cuddled all night, I did get my first kiss though :) I guess it depends on you and the guy though. We have a deep emotional connection and are choosing to wait until we're both ready. He's not a virgin, but he respects me and my wishes.
3 1 0 0No. Actually, many guys told me I was obligated to have sex with my prom date. Rather odd I think. I don't think there is an obligation, and not to get all technical with you, but I would recommend you try to keep your virginity. You don't want to lose it and get stuck with all the emotional baggage, not to mention the STDs. You wouldn't believe how many are roaming the countryside these days. Just a heads up. Your virginity has a lot more value than you think it does.
1 1 0 0Nope. I lost mine when I felt it was right for me, which was not at prom.

Hun, don't believe everything you see on tv. Prom is not an excuse to lose your virginity. It's not even an excuse to have sex. Go to your prom, have fun, and then go home. Don't feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do.
1 1 0 0I am sure it does happen, but not to me. I lost my virginity on my wedding night.
