We as humans have a natural scent or odor to our bodies, some smelling better than others, and it's usually influenced by what we eat and how hygienic we are. And it's not just for girls, but us guys too. Like I've been told by my friends and even some of my family members that I smell slightly like cedarwood and ocean, which is weird to me considering the fact that the deodorant and shampoo doesn't contain any traces of that.
Meanwhile I have a friend who unfortunately regardless how many timws he washes, whenever he sweats (and he's the kind of people who sweats a lot), his B. O is enough to make anyone pinch their nose, and the guy uses sprays and deodorants on the daily, so I don't get it either. As for your girlfriend, yeah, I'm almost certain that's her body's natural scent. My guess is that her mom or sister (if she has any) could also possibly smell the same or similar to her.

That’s only because girls actually wash and are hygienic 😂😂. Otherwise I have no idea what you’re on about. The male and female body both sweats, shits and pisses the same and there is no actual difference in smell, other than the societal perception that women are more hygienic.
Maybe it's the soap she uses, or maybe she puts on a nice sweet smelling body lotion after her shower/bath. Or she just smells sweet naturally! I thought this was a really cute question :)
No. The smell we emit depends on how healthy we are, what products we use and what we eat. I think you're mostly just smelling her body shampoo.
I see, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. Seemed to be the most likely explanation but in 3 years that smell's never changed so I wondered if she just never changed products or if she naturally smelled like that :))

Sweat is salty..
It depends on the showering products and how often you shower. If you shower every day you’ll always smell nice even after sweating. Sweat smells unpleasant when it builds up after a few days, or if a girl has hormone fluxes like during their period. Sounds like your girlfriend has good hygiene!
But there are differences with everyone and is often determined by genetics: I’m South Korean and no one in my family has ever used or needed deodorant. Many Korean are missing a gene which causes certain bacteria to be emitted in sweat. This means most Koreans (90% of the population) don’t smell at all. I was very shocked when I came to live in England since everyone smelt so bad.
As a female, I can tell you my boob sweat smells entirely different than other sweat. Even when I’m stress sweating and struggling with BO (when this happens I need clinical strength deodorant) my breasts never STINK. This isn’t the case for all females but if they are healthy and have a decent diet, boob sweat is definitely sweeter smelling than other types of sweat. My theory is pheromones.
There can also be bacteria and yeast that cause a sweet smell but that’s usually more of a cheesy or sour milk/ unpleasant sweetness.
