Actually that's a perfect size. I'm in high school as well and though I'm not sexually active, I do masturbate and anything longer than 5 inches hurts.
I should probably add, though, that it's more about technique than penis size. Try hitting the upper wall of the vagina (you could thrust differently or try different positions for this) and lots of foreplay ;)

This doesn't apply to all, although I would agree that most women (particularly high schoolers) would prefer to just sit back and be submissive. I like to take control sometimes, though, and I'm pretty involved when it comes to my sex life.
