Do guys genuinely like touching boobs?

When I was a senior in high school, I took my guy friend as my date to the winter dance. We weren't particularly close at the time. While he was driving me home (it was a long drive), he apologized for accidentally knocking my boobs during photos. I said it was fine, and then he confessed he had never touched a boob before. He nervously asked if he could touch mine and I said sure. He put his hand on my boob (over my dress) and kept it there for the rest of the drive. When we got to my house, we got out of the car and hugged and I noticed he had gotten hard. Is touching boobs really that enjoyable? I like having them touched, so I wonder if boys do it for my enjoyment or for theirs?
