Do guys like hair in certain places? I asked about my bush a few weeks back, thank you all for your prompt responses. I wonder now about arm pit hair? is it a turn on for you guys out there?

Just to add my opinion.

It is a medical fact that a woman produces pheromones from her armpits, and I have found that a woman who DOES NOT comply with the "social norm" of shaving/waxing (or whatever else) their armpits actually produce a higher level of pheromones; to the extent that pre and during sex these pheromones are a HUGE aphrodisiac and as a result increase both partners sexual experience.

However, a woman that does shave/ wax etc. actually "hardens" the skin of the armpit, which in turn reduces the release of these natural pheromones.

I wish it were so, that men could appreciate the female body in all its hairy glory. Such a bugger to shave or wax everywhere. It doesn't mean I take any less care of myself if I don't. I've shaved for years, but my fiance actually loves if I dont shave my armpits. I shave my legs and armpits but sometimes I dont shave my armpits. If my husband to be likes it then not shaving my underarms is fine with me. But he would love me no matter what, and he is Chinese lol.

I have to say no to armpit hair. I shave my legs and my armpits all the time. I can't stand having hair there. I'm not saying you have to go crazy and shave your whole body; as a matter of fact, I'm one of those girls who likes to keep some pubic hair, just neatly trimmed (mainly because razor burn = ouch and it itches when it grows back!). But I can't do the leg hair or armpit hair.

I hate the aluminum taste of antiperspirant though, so this only makes sense after a shower before it gets applied.

The look can be pulled off. Think of those ancient B+W nude pictures of Madonna (as a brunette) from the early '80s -- yowza! I've seen it look good on some asian girls too. It's effective not because of the armpit hair, but not in spite of it either. It just works as a whole. For me, anyway.

If people's knees are going to jerk, it'll be on this issue for sure! We've got decades of media programming making it seem almost unthinkable that women actually grow hair there... :)

I know this is old and I apologize in advance, but I absolutely love this question. I would love to have a girl who didn't shave. It shows that they are comfortable with who they are and don't need to follow the norms of society to feel beautiful. I'd strongly urge any girl who doesn't shave to go out onto the beach in a bikini and proudly flaunt what you have! If the girl is smoking hot, some arm pit hair can be tolerated for a while. If you want to rank which hair is the biggest turnoff I would say that leg hair is worst, nipple/tummy hair is second worst, arm hair third, arm pit hair fourth, and vagina/ass hair fifth. The hotter the girl the more a guy can tolerate hairiness but only to a point, then it is a turnoff.
