Wow. I'm not taking shots at Question Asker because I understand what it's like to have insecurities, but this is clearly one of the detrimental effects of porn culture on young people, specifically girls. QA everyone's body is different and that is normal. Don't think negatively of yourself because of natural pigmentation that many women have. It's natural. If you have a guy who loves and cares about you, he's gonna love all of you and not be like "ew she has a dark vagina, light vags are prettier!". Maybe if you meet some friends with benefits that doesn't care about you and only wants to use your body for his pleasure, but other than that it will not be an issue, so don't worry about it! :)

Yeah you're right birchy. porn doesn't necessarily make someone like this but if they are say exposed at a young age repeatedly then that could effect them i'm glad you feel better question asker

honestly all guys really care about is if it looks clean, smells clean, and feels good. it's not that often that your vagina is such direct light that they'll notice the color and ask you about it.

it's just like some women are concerned about pink vs. brownish nipples. everyone's different. if a guy really cares, then he's obviously ridiculous and not worth your time or your vagina.

It's perfectly normal for the labia (both outer and inner) to be darker than the surrounding skin tone. It would be unusual they weren't somewhat darker. You really shouldn't worry about this.

I don't mind it at all. All vaginas are beautiful, no matter the skin colour. Please don't try to change it, you're far more likely to hurt yourself than succeed.
