Is it more a latin or black thing? Because girls here (95% white) don't do it. I never see them let a man grab their hips while they dance. Why? Is it because they don't know how or is it too intimate/sexual?

I've never been dancing with a guy and he's tried to grab my hips; they usually go reaching for other areas, I wouldn't be put off though if a guy did - it's a lot less sexual than a lot of guys around here will go for.
