I can't believe everybody on this question. Oral sex IS sex. Otherwise they would call it something different. If you are going out and fooling around and doing all kinds of stuff but a penis never technically goes into your vagina--so what? You can claim to technically still be a virgin, but what does that mean at that point? Nothing! People that want to claim to be virgin and still do all kinds of other sexual things with another person are essentially hypocrites. It's like they are still trying to claim some sort of innocence that they don't actually have. Maybe the terminology should be changed to are you sexually active? That way they can't hide behind semantics. Fingering, hand jobs, oral--that is all sexually active.
0 1 2 1Read the definition of it in the dictionary, it says you have to be VAGINALLY penetrated to consider it losing your virginity. And how are people who give/receive oral, finger, and give hand jobs hypocrites? You should really refrain from using words you don't understand.
Your condescension is duly noted, Standingpretty. But in all fairness, you are making arguements way over your pay grade here as your cuts add little information of value to the conversation. Oral, manual, anal, vaginal...it's all sexual activity. By your definition strict homosexuals (male or female) are perpetual virgins with no hope for losing their virginity unless they take a walk on the straight side.
Morals, do not count for wether something has happened or not. You seem to ignore the point to what I said. You still did NOT tell me why you think of people who give recieve oral are "hypocrites" .I happen to have many gay friends who count anal sex only as losing their virginity and a few others who do count oral but wether they cosider it or not that's their way of seeing it and if they feel as if they lost ther virginity then I don't consider them virgins.
I voted not sure, because what is the difference between a mouth on his thing or your vagina? If the hymen is intact for the girl, then she can be classified as a virgin. Most tampons take care of that for you, so does that mean you are not a virgin after using a tampon? You can even lose the hymen with a rough horse ride I hear, but people rarely state they lost their virginity by riding a horse. I think virginity is just a label. I think you do lose your innocense after you have sex with another person whether it is intercourse or oral stimulation. In either case you lose your innocense. Oral sex is sex.

I think penetration is when you lose your virginity. My boyfriend & I nearly got into a fight about this. He fingered me & said I wasn't a virgin anymore. I think virginity is lost when you have sex & break the hymen. It's a feeling like no other, and more painful than any other sexual experience. Overall, I think when you have sex the first time & break the hymen you are no longer a virgin. This is what all of my girlfriends & most any other girl you ask considers losing their virginity. Hope this helped :)
3 0 0 0Many pregnant teenage girls have an intact hymen. The hymen is not always broken with first vaginal intercourse and should not be included in the definition for virginity. Plus, 1st time sex doesn't always hurt everyone. Regardless if you have had a penis in your vagina, gentital contact (whether it be hand, mouth, object, or other genitals) with the intent of sexual stimulation is sexual activity.

No way! You lose your virginity only by having intercourse. This is the one case where a guy's tongue is no substitute for his thingy. lol.
2 0 1 1Hey hey help pls, can sucking a pussy can loose verginity, why am i bleeding after my boyfriend suck me
3 days back my boyfriend suck me, its has been 3 days am bleedng little little and also havng some pain in my pussy pls
@Fatmafatma. Hmm well virginity has always been associated with as having vaginal sex. Since the question was referring to losing one's virginity rather than like, "are we having sex by my boyfriend giving me oral?" then I'd said "definitely". Obviously, your boyfriend was a great oral sucker but he could suck you all day and you'd still never get pregnant. Nor would he cum from having normal sex. So two things are missing here when he just gives you oral. Remember, losing one's virginity happens when a girl or guy has good old fashioned intercourse. Pregnancy can happen that way too. What about when a girl jacks off a guy? Did either lose their virginity? How about when she gives him oral? Same thing. Mannn that stuff can be really sexy but still has nothing to do with losing ones' virginity.
does that mean like brushing your teeth? I don't see why that would affect your virginity.
2 0 1 0It has nothing to do with brushing your teeth. oral sex is mouth to sex organ. when a girl sucks a mans **** and a man licks a chicas pussy. lol

13 4I really don't know how people get confused with this for the life of me! You lose you're virginity by having sexual intercourse. Traditionally between a man and woman. Oral is not having sexual intercourse. It is just a sexually activity, as is giving a hand job or a guy fingering a girl ok.
1 0 0 0My boyfriend does oral on me all the time and we both consider that I'm still a virgin 100%! We made that decision a long time ago.
3 1 1 1You're not nearly as virgin as you think you are. And definitely not innocent.
No, not at all. Doing or receiving. I classify sex as the act associated with procreation, so if you can get pregnant by doing it, it's sex. The last time I checked, swallowing does not cause pregnancy.
2 0 1 0Last I checked, you lost your virginity by having sex. y'know?! With the whole hymen breaking thing.
As far as DOING the oral, nurpe, I don't think that counts as losing your virginity.
Receiving oral sex wouldn't be classified as losing your virginity either :T Again, it isn't SEX sex.1 0 4 2Not by any definition I've ever heard of.
2 0 1 1No, you can't loose your virginity by oral.
3 0 1 1nope
1 0 1 1Breaking of the hymen, fingering, or using toys doesn't mean your not a virgin.
Nor does someone sucking or whatever on your vagina.
The only way for someone to lose their virginity is for penetration to be presented.
Sooo, a guy has to actually put his penis inside you for you to lose your virginity.
Hope I helped :]1 0 1 1No freakin way. Is a fish considered eaten, if you just suck on it?
3 0 1 1But would you eat that fish?
The vote says it all, it's not sex.
1 0 1 0you don't technically lose your virginity but to some people a virgin engaging in other types of sexual activities like oral would mean the person is not as innocent as the term virgin implies.
4 1 0 0No. Your virginity is lost through penetration and not tampons or fingers and the like.
3 0 1 1Sex is sex, you have sex you're not a virgin
0 0 1 0Only by some thing going inside you like a penis
1 0 0 0Yes, your still a virgin if you do this. You have to be VAGINALLY penetrated for it to count as losing your virginity.
0 0 1 0it's not so innocent to be doing oral so in a way I would consider it as yes, altho virginity then you are implying has a subjective definition. to me, it means anything pertaining to sex even if it doesn't include penetration
3 1 2 0If virginity loss means the breaking of the hymen then I suppose it's possible, but I usually associate virginity loss with penis in the vaginal hole.
