Do your areolas shrink/draw up more when you get cold or turned on?

When you get cold or turned on does that cause your areolas to shrink/draw up more when your nipples get hard? I've noticed this and was wondering if anyone else experienced it.

Areolas are tissue much like a scrotum. They bunch up from both cold and arousal.
