Does a son inherit the penis size of his father exactly? Or is it a mix from the mothers and fathers side, or is it just completely random?

Most likely a mix. We have a gene the SRY gene if I remember correctly that signals for your junk to become your junk if it doesn't go off you automatically begin to grow female genitalia. So genes for your genitals could come from your mom or dad but the gene that's says your a guy definitely comes from pops. Like height and skin color your junk size could also be from the sum of multiple genes so you could end up with a mix from both parents that makes you drastically different from men on both sides of your family or even your siblings.

I guess what I'm saying is you don't have like one gene from your dad and one from your mom it's more like a set of genes from your dad and a set from your mom. And their are multiple different genes from your parents involved in how your penis is made. Now since both your parents also have two sets of genes your getting one set from each that's a mixture of their two sets. And your penis is dependent on how all your genes interact with each other so you can't really just look at the guys in your family and know what yours will be like or look at yours and know what there's is like. But it's usually pretty close.

No if your mom side was 5 and your dad side was 6 you could be 1-13 inches (these are exaggerations almost everyone falls between 4-8 without a medical condition and almost 90 precent between 4.5-7) but are far more likely to end up somewhere between a little less than 5 and a little more than 6.

Like a good range would be between like 4.8 and 6.2. Like with height sometimes two tall parents make an even taller son. That's because genes on height usually push things toward the taller side. With penises I'm not sure. It just depends on how the genes interact with each other and whether the dominant gene skews things towards being longer or shorter. but your still very likely to fall inbetween the two or just a little outside of the range of 5 to 6.

My Dad is 6'2 My mum is 5'4 and I'm 6'5 - kind blows your 'science' out of the water a bit. Two tall people who inherit tall genes from one parent each doesn't 'push things toward the taller side' - they just inherited height from one of each of their parents - they could just as easily pass on a recessive short gene to their own children. As for penis size well I'm 9 inches but honestly if any bloke here wants to come back and tell me he's gone and asked his dad to show him how big his erect dick is I'm not going to be responding to him. Not really. Height isn't controlled by one gene alone. If your mom has an even mix of genes that makes her the exact height she is but only gave you the taller genes and not the shorter genes and your dad who has few short genes and a lot of tall genes gave you all tall genes then when they come together you're going to have more tall genes then your dad. Making you taller than your dad. And you are right if you're parents pass on more short genes than tall genes you won't be as tall. I was trying to avoid using dominant and recessive genes because it just makes the whole discussion more difficult which is why I used the whole pushing towards a certian direction thing. I'm also ignoring how HGH interacts with testosterone and a multitude of other points. I'm grossly oversimplifiying this because I can't teach a whole lecture on genetics in a few 1000 character posts. I was just trying to provide a somewhat easy understanding on how penis length could be explained.

Genetics is not something that can be explained in a day so I don't expect you to fully get it. Your mom has 23 PAIRS of chromosomes. Meaning a total of 46. Your dad has 23 pairs of chromosomes. Each parent gives you one of each. So you end up with 23 pairs. Now each pair of chromosomes has corresponding genes. So you carry two of every gene. But one gene is usually dominant and is expressed. Meaning if you have flower with a color gene with two types red and yellow and red is dominant then if you have a red gene on one chromosome and a yellow gene on the other chromosome paired with it then the flower will be red. Height and penis length are the same except instead of only having one gene there are multiple genes involved. In addition to this since height is affected by HGH which is effected by testosterone men end up being taller on average so simply measuring your both your parents doesn't tell you much. And since women don't even have penises you can see the problem there.

I did my best trying to explain the basic jist of how things that exist on a gradient like height and length work but it's just not a simple concept. There are so many little factors that go into it you pretty much have to read a genetics text book to get it. But to answer your main question. NO it is not random at all. If you could sequence your genes and your parents genes you could show exactly why your penis is your length and every gene in you can be found in one of your parents. But can you tell by simply looking at your family members penis how big you will be? No defintely not.

All I was saying before was that your going to fall in or just outside of the range normal for your family. Two tall people (relative to average heights of their own gender) rarely make a super short kid. Two short people (once again relative) rarely make a super talk kid. It's possible but it's rare. So if the average penis size on your mom side is 6 and on your dad side is 5 (how you got those numbers I don't know) than you could guess your penis will fall inbetween those two numbers or just a little but outside of the extremes.

Your more likely to fall inbetween. But falling just above or just below isn't super rare. Ending up at like 10 inches though is highly unlikely and either is a lie, a medical condition, or a recent mutation.
