At the very least I need it to be trimmed. It's just dirty looking when you have a jungle down there, especially right around the vulva.
I personally like it bare and for 2 reasons.
1) I'm a guy and a very visual person, so I want to see every detail that is the beauty of her vagina. I don't want to just see some blob of hair. I want to see the curves, the folds, the openings,etc. You wouldn't like looking at a flower that is covered a huge pile of grass
2) It's uncomfortable when she has too much hair. When I'm using my hand to play with her vagina, I like feeling smooth skin. I don't want to feel like I playing with sand paper or a brita bad. I've literally had the skin on my mouth and penis chafed because of being rubbed and scratched by too much pubic hair on the girl. Smooth skin just allows things to glide freely.
Guys my age tend to think that shaved is cleaner. I can't disagree. I personally don't relate being bare to being a child. I relate it to being neat/clean. No offense.

19. I used to trim it when my boyfriend and I lived near each other. He said he didn't mind, the only problem was he didn't like going down on me when I had pubes because it bugged his face. I didn't really mind, but now we live a few thousand miles apart and see each other about every month and a half two months, so I really don't do anything to it, but when I see him I shave it completely off because I know he likes it. When he moves back in a few months I'll probably go back to trimming and bikini shaving because it's a little irritating to shave all the time, but on occasion shave it all.
i just hope he's doing the same for you i know girls can't like it when a guy has mass amounts of pubes on his testicles when she's giving him head!
i can't stand shaving it all off.. (never tried waxing) I have sensitive skin an shaving it all off is uncomfortable, and I think razor burn looks worse than hair.. but I do trim it frequently, and shave parts of it. I hope guys are OK with that, because its honestly just the way my skin, and hair are.. :P

from a man's perspective i agree with you that razor irretation around the woman's pubic region looks un-attractive compare to pubic hair!
I'm 23 and I go between natural and trimmed, but never shaven. I hate the feeling of being bare and I think it's odd that guys would want it to look like a little girl's...that's just my opinion. Also, every guy I've been with prefers some hair down there.

Every guy says "it's fine to leave hair", but in reality (out of GAG) not many guys like it (at least the ones I've dated). Especially the guys that decide to go down on a girl.

Younger guys are more likely to dislike it (hair). When I was young, I thought shaved was cool, but for me it was kind of a neat change, then I went back to liking _some_ hair - which is what I grew up with (actually kind of grew up with full bushes, I like trimmed). i do wonder if the young guys of today will still like full shaved in 50 years. I kind of suspect they may, just like for me, armpit hair removal for women is not a 'neat trend'. its just normal.

Don't kill me, but I shave the whole thing. My boyfriend likes it, so that's why really. It doesn't bother me. It's also convenient during bathing suit season, and it feels comfortable to me. It doesn't itch when it grows back like a lot of people say, but it does grow back quickly which annoys me. I occasionally leave a landing strip though.

That's fine..but what I try to point out..is that some guys do like pubes and, if the current fad reverses, why would someone want to permanently remove what the love of their life might wish for..later on?
Welp, it's not permanent. It grows back! If my current boyfriend and I break up, and the new guy likes pubes, I won't shave them. I'll just take off whatever sticks out of a bathing suit and trim a little for hygiene.
I'm 23 and I'm sometimes natural and sometimes trimmed. I'm a virgin so the only one seeing it is me. At least when I finally do shave, it will look nice and not all gross and dark and ingrown.

Mine is natural. I'm 19. But it is only because I haven't done anything yet. I plan on asking my boyfriend before how he would like it and then I will do that. I haven't tried shaving it before so I don't know if I would prefer it. Whatever my guy wants he'll get, he is the one most affected I guess. Unless I find his preference incredibly uncomfortable, I will keep it how he wants it.
