Does castration help eliminating sexual feelings?

Does castration helps in reducing sexual feelings and attraction towards the women and also helps in drastically dramatically reducing the heavy amounts of male body hairs?

  • uuuuh I remember looking into this years ago you know.

    The surgical procedure is called orchiectomy. Yes, orchi will signficiantly decrease your testosterone levels, and will indeed cause you to grow significantly less body hair. It'll also redistribute your weight to an extent. The thing is, you can get exactly the same effect by taking spironolactone, so unless you desperately want rid of your testicals, it's usually easier to just get ahold of spiro.

    That being said, I didn't say it would help reduce sexual feelings necessarily. Theoretically it *should*. You're greatly decreasing your testosterone production. But... well... it doesn't always work that way. Sometimes our desire for sex doesn't come as much from our drive as it does for other, more complicated psychological desires. I know many trans women who, after begnning spiro or getting orchi/GRS, actually gain a *tremendous* sexual apptite, that they had never felt comfortable with themselves enough to experience before, even though their testosterone is at an all-time low.

    If you really wanna reduce your sex drive, you can try spiro. You could also try some other medication that reduces your sex drive for different reasons. I take an SSRI called citalopram for my depression & anxiety, and I have, honestly, next to no sex drive at all. It's known to have a tremendous dampening effect on the libido, which I think has something to do with its acting on serotonin receptors, rather than with testosterone production like spiro. There are some other alternatives, too, that I don't know about.

    Maybe medication isn't the best answer, though. Maybe you just have to make peace with yourself, as is often the case. Why do you want to eliminate sexual feelings?

  • Why would you want to get a castration when you can just get laser hair removal and medications to reduce sexual feelings?

    • Just get it removed forever, no attraction to women and no sexual feelings that way it won't matter if women hate me a lot or hate me less or find me unappealing and ugly

    • That's just a crazy idea. A castration is irreversible and you'll end up regretting what you did for the rest of your life. I strongly suggest you visit a counselor/psychologist to help you with whatever it is that you're feeling.

    • Who cares if it is irreversible or not! I don't want it to be reversed anyway. I don't need my man balls and penis anyway. They are useless and merely torture me by being sexually active and I need to masturbate and ejaculate my energy, it sucks I am lonely and have always been without female friends and girlfriend. I am sexually repulsive as hell A madly horny woman gets turned off for mithes if she sees me naked

  • I think you may be confused on what exactly castrations is? If not then the answer is more yes than no, from what I understand it would lower testosterone which "could" reduce body hair im not too sure on that but probably not and it would reduce sexual desires. But i wouldn't recommend such drastic actions that can be easily fixed with a razor and your dominant hand amongst other things

    • Fed up of using my hand and seeing hair or having stubble due to shaving , and it's not easy to shave shoulders, back, neck and butt Hate being hated by women as well

    • Go get waxed, buy yourself a sex toy or see a prostitute (if legal). As for being hated by woman turning yourself into a eunuch won't make them not hate you (want to make a game of thrones joke here but i wont) there could be something you're doing thats putting them off

    You need to work on yourself. Especially your self image. Step away from the whole dating game for a couple of months. Get some hobbies. Get a new perspective on life. And then gradually work your way back into girls heart.
