Depends on how strong the shampoo is. Use lube instead. Natural oils work too... I know that women can get sore/infection depending on what they use for masturbation. For guys, it seems to be less risky, though a thorough wash later does keep us away from strange chemical reactions!

The shampoo may irritate the meatus-the opening on your head-So it might cause some temporary burning afterward. Astro glide or ky provides better and longer lubrication. It is a little more expensive -but I think you would be happier with the results.--

I don't think it does just try not to get it in the hole that could cause irritation and an infection so probably pee after. I just use a sensitive skin whatever I have when the mood stikes in the shower then rinse completely:)

If the shampoo is not washed away it will have a drying effect on the skin. Be sure to thoroughly rinse off the shampoo. I agree with earlier responders that you should consider using other types of lube such as KY jelly, baby oil, or hand lotions.

YES it will dry your skin out quickly the soap my go into your urethra. I am guessing your cut try hand lotion instead or coconut oil.
