What you're asking is do tampons break your hymen or not. Sometimes I think this website should be called "Googlingforotherpeople.com" Here ya go:

"Hymens come in various shapes and designs. If your hymen is still intact and shaped like a person-hole cover, or a septum (a thin line of skin which divides the center of the vaginal opening, as does the septum of our nose), then this thin membrane of skin may stretch or break. On the other hand, if you have a hymen shaped like a crescent moon around the bottom or side of the vaginal opening, then tampons may not interfere at all. Interestingly, not all women are born with hymens, and hymens can break without women knowing it. Strenuous activities, such as bicycle riding, horseback riding, stretching, or dancing, can also cause the hymen to break. Lastly, a woman's hymen could have already been broken or stretched by sexual activity, even if she has not had a penis inside of her."

To find out if you have a hymen or not, put your finger at the tip of your vaginal opening and barely stick in it then pull it out - if you have a hymen you will feel a small flap of skin around the base of your finger.

Umm... I'm not quite sure what your question is here. Of course tampons penetrate.

If you're worried about your virginity though, it's impossible to lose your virginity by using tampons. That would require the use of another human being...

Yeah, elise087 has some good information up there. Yes, it's possible to break your hymen with tampons but 1) it can be broken during any strenuous activity, and 2) not all girls are born with one. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm a tampon person (rather than a pad person), so I would recommend them if you've never used one before. Just make sure to practice inserting them in the comfort of your own bathroom and make sure to start out with the smallest kind because those are the easiest.

As in breaks the hymen? I imagine it can if you use it wrong or something. A lot of things can break the hymen by the way. So don't worry about it.
