Dream about penis getting cut off?

So my boyfriend had a dream about his penis getting cut off. He was telling me about it and in the dream he said that the tip of his penis was cut off. In the dream he said that he was really scared that I would be disappointed that my favorite part was cut off. I was wonder what the dream means? Anything will help thanks!

I still have reoccuring dreams that my teeth fall out because when I was 14, my dentist pulled three of my adult teeth instead the baby teeth she was supposed to. Now I'm not saying he has had his d*ck chopped off before but maybe it is just one of his fears. Because I know the reason I still have my dream is because it is now one of my worst fears to lose my teeth..

i have had this sort of dream so many times. so many times.

I looked it up at some point and apparently it signifies some sort of conflict with the father. It's true in my case, that there is conflict between myself and my father, but it isn't "news" to me, so I don't know why it would show up in my dreams a thousand times...

I've actually NEVER had a dream about my penis being cutoff... so I can't articulate.

I don't think it's very common.
