Honey, either you wanna have sex or you dont. There is no such thing as dry sex, unless its actually dry humping before you go ahead and do it! it would actually turn him on even more and you will give him blue balls... not cool to guys!
But if you don't wanna get prego ( be double protected). but if you re against that for now, there are few other things that you could do.. but remember don't do anything you re not comfortable with. if he likes you enough he will wait, but you gotta cut him some slack and do little tiny things to keep him around untill you want to.
Dry humping can be a lot of fun. Jeans can work for the guy, but it's a really thick material. He will still get aroused but it will be harder for him to get off with such a thick material. As oliver said, you can have dry sex in just you're underwear. But I understand if you're not comfortable with that because if you don't want to get pregnant you're allowed to be paranoid.
Jeans are fine, but it may be better for him, (and for you too) if he wore a different material than heavy denim.
I think you're better off cutting him loose and going solo for a while. Sex through jeans is not really sex at all, and is not going to enrich either of your lives. Until you lose your apprehension about getting preggers it will be no use going to half-measures like this.

Both of you in ONLY underwear...and believe me, it won't be 'dry sex", You will have to change underwear afterward... ...been there...done that many times as a teen and post teen...and you are not going to get pregnant through two pairs of "soaked' underwear...
