I have seen some answer here that it is unlikely, and that most guys wouldn't do that. I also saw that some people thought some sites were safe because the sender could control whether it is recorded.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Search the internet and you can find a gazillion sites where amateurs are posted. Believe that many are posted without the subject's knowledge. Add to that a thing called usenet: a collection of material in different categories where things are stored and people can search for what they want and download them. Includes many innocent things like pictures of flowers, animals, scenery, etc, as well as many things that are not binary files (videos, pictures), such as stories, medical research, etc. But there are dozens of categories of sexual binary files filled with many images that never make it to the p*rno sites. This means thousands of people are adding files daily.
Safe sites because the software displaying requires subjects permission? Forget it. There are all kinds of programs out there to record things that are not supposed to be able to be recorded.
Someone said that there would be no incentive for a guy to upload such a video. Many guys love to show they can do better than the next guy, so they will capture these kind of videos and upload them saying they are videos of their girlfriends. I know that does not make a lot of sense because the guys like to remain anonymous, so why try to outdo the next guy? But it happens.
I do not post this to make you feel worse, but rather to get the idea across to other women that any time they expose themselves on video camera, it can be recorded. And even if it is your boyfriend, if you break up he may be ticked off enough to upload it to get back at you.
You have heard "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Well, "What happens on the internet, stays on the internet." It is likely recorded and once uploaded, there is NO way you can get it off the internet. Even if you could destroy the server that holds the file, someone would have downloaded it and would re-upload it.
If you feel you must expose yourself on the internet (or in any video or picture, as they can be transferred to the internet), keep your face (and any other identifying features) out of the picture.
1. How old are you? Because you should really know better if you're 18-24
2. Why did you show your face? If you wanted to show off your breasts and vagina, that didn't mean you had to show your face. Without your face it could be anyone.
Sorry this happened to you. But chatrooms are a huge noo-no on the internet unless its like for a specific thing or you know the people.
aye I'm 23... and yes I should know better... I don't go on chatrooms, this is the 1st chat room I've been on and never thought some1 would record it. My face my showeed because of the way I was laying down (on my front, so my face was in view)... I just didn't think, and yes I know its my own fault!
It is possible and very likely it is true and you will be on the internet. Good luck in actually finding you though as you have followed in the footsteps of thousands of guys and girls ahead of you and will be thousands after you.
Actually not much of a threat unless you are in a new job interview and the interviewer looking at his moniter politely asks you "Is that a mole above your right nipple"! LOL Outside of that you are pretty safe
That's scary! I'm pretty sure it is possible it went on the Internet and that you won't do it again. If you do happen to do it again, make sure you don't show your face so your body is only showing. That way it will be less embarrassing and scary.

Quite likely. It's very easy to record your desktop which is how you get recorded. It's hard to know though. He might have it or he's just creating simple blackmail so you have to give him shows all the time.

Dang I wanted to see! lol See if you do it for like your boyfriend it won't be recorded unless you let him(like on certain chat things it will let you ask the other user if it can be recorded) because even though it's easy to record. It's usually only guys/girls that go on sites like Omegle, Stickam, etc.

I doubt he'll put it up just because there's really no benefit in him doing so. If he did get it on cam he'll probably just use it for his spank tank. I wouldn't really worry but next time don't do that. Of course I'm sure you learned your lesson though.
