Girlfriend bought a new dildo that's bigger than me?

A girl just asked a similar question, but if she buys a new toy and it is bigger than you, is she trying to tell you somethin? Like she misses sex with bigger guys? Length doesn't bother me as much as girth. I know they need something to hold onto, but bigger around will get her used to that size, and make sex worse for both of us. She got it for us to use together v just when she is alone, but I don't want to be in her after it has, seems counterproductive?

  • How to put this nicely...

Dildos aren't as fun as real sex. It doesn't matter on the size, if you are in control you know exactly where the stimulation will be, exactly when you'll thrust, etc etc. With sex, someone else is in control, it's unexpected, it's exciting.

Perhaps it's a fantasy of hers that she wants to fulfil. I don't think she meant to upset you when she bought it, dildos are generally made to an average, or just above size. Unless you go for these super huge ones obviously.

Unless she had got a tape measure and measured you exactly and compared that with the dildos, she wasn't going to get a small one. If she bought a little one to make sure you weren't offended, she would have no pleasure from it.

I think your over thinking things, just like amberyhhh said.

    • Aww thank you for BA!

  • Agreeing with first male commenter, and would like to add – It's a muscle, not a mining tunnel. Widening it with a toy doesn't mean it's loose forever. Otherwise, what would people do after women had children? You'd have to buy her a wine bottle.

If you're worried about her comparing, just ask her not to use it on the days you two get together.

  • The stimulation from a vibrator is quite different from sex. Vibrators are always sold in big sizes so I wouldn't worry about it at all. Have some fun with her and use it on her during foreplay. They are two different things to be honest, you're over thinking the issue, just see it as a new and exciting asset to your sex life!

    • Vibes I have no issue with at all, and I don't think most guys do. Just the penetration part can throw me off. I'm all about her pleasure, so that's not a concern, and she and I talked about it before hand, I just didn't know she would go get something of that size. Has to make you wonder...

    • Two completely different feelings, real sex always feels better because the two bodies are moulded together and fitted well. Vibrators are very general, they might be good but they can't compare, promise! It's very rare that shops sell smaller sized vibrators, check it out online, it's not often you come across a vibrator which is average size.

  • i think it's just a change of pace. think about it, if you're a chick and you wanna buy a dildo, why would you want to go with one like the d*** you're getting already? you'd probably go as big as you think you comfortably can just to see what it's like. doesn't mean your willy isn't doing it for her, she just wants to see what it'd be like

    • But if the point was something we use together, wouldn't that be trying to say I wish you had a p*rno cock?

    • no, it means she wanted to get a dildo that's p*rno size to maximize the pleasure you can give to her. you can't assume she's going to get "used" to that size and will be forever stuck needing the dildo instead of you to get off

  • Only thing that matters: when you guys have sex, do you both enjoy it and dies she reach orgasm?

  • I agree with another answer on here. Dildos are not as much fun as sex. Don't worry about it.
