Unless he's wearing a condom [and he would be if this were casual, because in a relationship I can't see myself not knowing this little tidbit of info, or not seeing his penis in its normal state], I like to think I'd be able to tell. Skin has a very specific texture. It's really hard to mimic that texture, even with the most realistic of skin-like toys. If the guy was straight up with me, I probably wouldn't care. I'd be more bothered that he lied and just hoped I wouldn't be able to tell. Also, if you don't let me see or touch your penis at all before sex, I'm going to assume something shady is up. My mind might not wander to THIS conclusion, I might think something more along the lines of stis or stds. Either way, that shady behavior would have me not wanting to have sex anymore.

If it's made of that soft flesh-like material certain dildos are made out of, probably not. If it's made of simple plastic or rubber, definitely.

generally speaking we can tell the difference between skin and rubber, however there are some procucts that are so life like that it feels like skin so it all depends on the material used

I could tell the difference from rubber and a real penis. But it's different if the material on the prosthetic penis is more flesh like.
