I accept "no", but I don't get why getting turned on by a man's voice requires an amount of desperation. that's completely illogical. some girls get turned on by muscular guys (high testosterone level)... others get turned on by a deep manly voice (high testosterone level). wow, there are millions of desperate girls out there, right?

Tons of desperate girls, but even your examples point out the problem. Visuals are important and you can't see muscles without knowing what a person looks like. If you want the answer to be 'yes' from all the women here, it would probably require knowing what the man looks like... IE. You have his picture, you've seen him around (school, work, mall, wherever), and now you're talking to him on the phone... Can you be turned on by his voice alone... YES, then its possible...

you still don't get it. visuals are important but that doesn't mean a woman is unable to get turned on by a man's voice alone. a voice tells you much more about a man than you realize. deep voice, the way he talks... it shows if he is confident or shy... dominant or submissive... if he's manly or wimpy and so on. truth is, a low masculine voice is important to the accuracy of a woman's memory of a potential partner and will stick in her mind when she makes a choice of mate.

YES! There's just something about liking a guy that makes everything about him attractive.. including his voice, or little things he does that are usually "meh".
