in answer to your question, no you don't have to be naked but it's tricky to play while your doing dinner or washing dishes and having to get hands into sometimes tight clothing, I generally need both hands to wank and being naked on a large bed affords more freedom therefore I do it where I can have the most access or where my partner has more access to do it for me.
