I'd say for me, romantically, it feels like you are protected in every way possible. I feel physically safer, emotionally more secure, spiritually content. I have a strong sense of peace in knowing that he cares for me. I actually feel less stress in physical and financial areas as well. Even if we don't live together or he isn't financially taking care of me. I'm very strong by myself but even I have a very strong sense of harmony when I am loved by a man. I've never been the woman who needed a man but when I am with one, the world feels much safer to me. And you feel very cherished because they are so rough with other people sometimes but they are so gentle with you so of course that makes you feel special.
In bed, I guess it depends on the kind of sex we are having. Sometimes a guy can be rougher but I've never felt like he was trying to climb on and do his thing and get off. It's just that we agreed to have rougher sex that time. But even then it does feel very safe. You trust him to not hurt you and you can feel very protected. Even more so in sex then just romantically. Sometimes it feels like absolutely no one can hurt you when he is inside of you. And yes, if the guy takes the time, you can feel very cherished during sex. He can make you feel very dear that he is taking the time to take care of you. If you have a good guy , even if you "let him play with you", he isn't abusing it, he is just touching you all over cause he loves it and he wants to give you pleasure. And yes, I love touching them back. It's such a great feeling to hold a naked man.
I think it's a best friend thing but also more. If the relationship is solid and you both love each other, there is a sense like there was never a time you two didn't know each other. Like you are twins. Even if you've only known him for years, it feels like you can't remember a time when you weren't together. Some days I swear we are the same person in two bodies. It is much more than friendship. I don't think it's just sex that does that either. I think there is just an intimacy that you build with this person that you can't build with anyone else.
I just can't even imagine the world without men. They are by far the greatest things on the planet. I don't know how they make you feel they way they do but it's amazing. This question seriously gave me chills just thinking about how great a man can make you feel. There is just nothing to compare to being held by a man or having him say he loves you.

It depends on how good the relationship is outside of the bedroom. In the beginning, it was amazing. I felt like a goddess, and he just very much appreciated my body, even caressing me while I was sleeping (I woke up but pretended I was still asleep lol). It's not really like being with a best friend, no, but we weren't friends before the relationship started. As long as you can get along outside the bedroom, I think the bed times can be great. :-D
