Guys' affection during sex?

Do you tend to be more affectionate toward the girl you're sleeping with if you like her/respect her/other admirable feeling, even if it's casual? Are you only affectionate when with someone in a relationship? Or are you just affectionate, regardless of how you feel about the girl? What about when you're with a chick when it's basically, "hit it and quit it?" Is it just flat out sex with no affection of any kind?

The level of affection I show is based on many things like how I feel about her, how I think she feels about me, how well I know her, how she treats me, some girls don't really like a lot of affection so if I get that hint I back it off more, some the other way so I show more. I always show some affection. I mean there is even the old affectionate punch in the shoulder from 3rd grade or whenever hit it and quit it get these.

If this has happened several times where the guy is never affectionate, it's less likely he's into you but it could just be his sexual tastes. If I really cared about someone, it's more likely I'm going to be more affectionate, but it's also likely that, especially if she likes rougher sex, I might be rough or even degrading for the sake of better sex.

I was curious because I've been with a few guys where it was just sex and they were more affectionate than I'd expected. I also found out recently that someone else one of them is sleeping with has really rough sex with him and it surprised me because I'd never seen that side of him.

It completely depends on the guy.

I was FWB with this guy and he would always be affectionate and cuddly with me, and even hold my hand if we were out in public.

Some of my booty calls are also affectionate even though it's a purely sexual relationship.

And others make it strictly about business haha

I consider myself to be very affectionate with my girlfriend. We are in a long term relationship and I love her very much. I love to pet her, kiss her, hold her, and everything in between. I have never been with a girl just for sex, so I would not know much about affection during a hookup.

In a steady, solo relationship, the affection becomes more frequent relaxed and playful. In a sporting situation, the affection is more structured for the purpose of her arousal. More hot, less silliness. But my steady solo relationship needs less lead-up sort of like Louis Armstrong, decades ago, blowing only 2/3 of the notes but you "knew" the rest.
