Deep down (and often not very deep down at all), every guy wants to bang his attractive female friends. That's just how men are designed. That doesn't necessarily mean we spend all day thinking about it, but there will be some fleeting thoughts at times at the very least, yes. And just because a guy never does anything about it, or makes any move at all, doesn't mean he hasn't thought about it in the back of his mind. The rest will just accept that it will never happen, and will never entertain thoughts that it will ACTUALLY happen, but will still enjoy thinking about it a bit.
Talking to other guys, the most common fantasy image is simply "I wonder what she looks like naked." It's far less common for guys to actually go beyond that with a "friend" unless he is totally, obviously into her and is pursuing her. Maybe that's some self-imposed discipline, or our way of being respectful? I don't know. But for some reason, we imagine every attractive girl naked, no matter what. Again, it's just how we evolved to be.
