Virginity would be nice but let's face it, these days it's hard to find someone who is still a virgin, so you kinda have to assume some women you meet won't be. It doesn't make them a horrible person it just makes them a person with a life before you. If every person that had a bad relationship was counted as undatable then the human race would be doomed.

No one is perfect, to assume you can only date a perfect untouched girl means your standards are too high and you could actually miss out on a great person.

I'm christian and a virgin wanting my husband to be one too when I marry him. Although, I almost feel that in this day and age and with the type of guy I go for, there is pretty much no chance of him being a virgin. I just don't want a girl that has had a past of sleeping around or jumping in and out of relationships. that kind of... behavior makes me feel that I can't trust her, or that she doesn't know what she wants and therefor will most likely feel she is "done" with me =/ and I don't like the idea of being a thing that someone can try and bring back to the returns desk if they don't like it.

Really? What if she's changed? I admit I've been a bit of a slut in the past I mean I'm only 16 and I've slept with nearly 30 guys. I dunno, it'd be nice if she was or at least didn't do stuff with a LOT of guys. I mean, I like a woman that'll have a mindset similar to mine when it comes to sex. Shared only with someone they love deeply who loves them and never rushing into it. There's no reason to really rush into it (and by rush I mean even just dating one month and having sex then is still too soon).

But whether she's a virgin or not? That doesn't matter so much as how she lost it or how often she has done it in the past (with # of partners) and more how her mindset is then.

I'm willing to wait until marriage, but I don't think it's a necessity. Considering I'm a virgin I wouldn't mind being with someone who also doesn't know what they're doing, that way we can learn together, but that's not gonna stop me from being with someone who I truly love by a long shot.

I am waiting until marriage. It's not the end of the world if she didn't, but I would very strongly prefer her to be a virgin. If she weren't, it would depend on her views on sex and relationships. The most important thing, though, would be that she wasn't thinking about him/them on the wedding night.
