Guys, does sex with a condom on feel a lot different than sex without a condom?

My boyfriend and I decided that we want to have sex without him wearing a condom. Neither of us have had sex without a condom before so we don't know if there is going to be a significant difference. My boyfriend is worried that he'll come faster since he won't have a condom on. Is that a possibility? Does sex with a condom feel a lot different from sex without one?

  • There is definitely a difference. How big that difference feels is individual. Personally I can not come if I wear a condom. It is after all a latex/plastic layer around your penis. It does limit your feeling of touch. On the other hand, it may lengthen the duration of your erection due to the "cock-ring"-effect.

So these days I never wear one. But I am married and I only ever have sex with the wife. So if she would get pregnant, so be it. I would never have had sex before my marriage without one. To risky.

  • Not really, it's more psychological that there is something between the flesh of both people that's all.

The only screw up is you got to break the act to get it on which is a put off for many people.

Your boyfriend doesn't need to worry about cumming faster unless you guys being using condoms laced with some kind of aphrodisiac.

  • I like it a lot better without a condom. I stay wet longer and it feels much better! My boyfriend said that he does come a lot easier without one because there is more sensation. However, I would suggest that you have another method of birth control as well as you get tested first if this is not your first time for one of you. My boyfriend gave me an std ( curable) because he didn't know he had it. Always better safe than sorry. Best of luck :)

  • Its absolutely better! He will absolutely come faster! Neither of you will ever want to go back to using condoms ever again. Nothing brings on my orgasm like a guy finishing inside of me. Sex is supposed to be messy and fun. Its going to be a lot more of both for you now.

  • Of course it's different. It kind of takes some of the feeling out, but it's not a bad thing. I use it to my advantage when my Girlfriend asks me to use a condom. Helps me last a little longer like a minute or so and makes clean up easy

  • Yes.

  • There's a big difference. The condom.blocks a lot of great feeling. Skin-to-skin contact feels much better than skin-to-whatever the condom is made of. However, because of less stimulation and pleasure, it makes guys last longer.

  • I'm a virgin, but I've heard that the difference is noticeable and that sex with a condom on doesn't feel as good (though I suppose that might mean that you can last longer, which might be a good thing). I've also heard some girls say that they can notice a difference between condom and condomless, and that condomless feels better for them. That's probably why alternative forms of contraception are becoming more and more popular.

  • Yes it does. It is like showering with a raincoat on.
